In recent years, many people have found they need additional storage space for items they have been collecting, or do not want to part with, and find that their homes simply do not have adequate storage for these 'extras'. 

Storage units come in two basic flavors; climate controlled and non-climate controlled.  In addition, many storage facilities offer parking spaces for trailers, boats, and RV's - these spaces are, of course, out in the open.

When considering a storage facility, it is important to know what temperature levels are maintained in the units.  Our bldgs are maintained at temperatures between 60 degrees (F) and 80 degrees (F) year around.  It's important to note: in the summertime, temperatures can run in the high 90's with high humidity.  

Mold and mildrew are a fact of life in the Low Country. 

This means many of your prized possessions including, photographs, important papers, clothing, furniture, bedding, wood and metal furniture and appliances could be at risk! Many of your possessions could deteriorate at high temperature/humidity and be suject to mold and mildew.  

A climate controlled unit offers you the peace of mind provided by a stabilized year round storage environment.  Cool and dry in the summer and  dry and warm during the winter.  Of course, all our climate controlled units are 'inside' units meaning they are also protected from wind and rain.
